Saving dogs, is who we are

 We are a registered 501 (c) 3 non-nonprofit.  Our focus, cruelty free* Educated* Rescue* No-kill* (Animal Rescue Organization) in Los Angeles. Small network of rescuers and volunteers who work together to nurture, rehabilitate and find homes for loving, adoptable dogs, from the inner city to pounds through out Los Angeles. 

 These dogs are either abandoned, abused or in danger of imminent death, as they are on the kill list at very high volume at pounds. Some of the animal control facilities use extremely inhumane practices, like gas chambers and heart stick to euthanize the dogs and many have killed rates over 90%, before rescuers get involved

When we dedicate to rescuing a dog, we make sure the dog is well cared for and properly vetted before prepping to foster or adopt. fostering We spay / neuter, vaccinate, test for heartworm, provide flea and heartworm preventative and, deworm at private vets. We treat illnesses before adoption. Most often heartworm but, also, we treat parvo and distemper; providing for necessary surgeries on dogs with serious injuries. 

The dogs stay in local fosters or boarding for 2 weeks or until they are healthy enough to travel. After recovery, they ride with professional rescue transporters, who make sure their rides are as comfortable and stress free as possible.

When they arrive, the dogs go into foster homes where they get training and experience to live in a home environment before adoption. The lucky ones, might get adopted upon arrival! We want the dogs to be in the best possible adoptive homes, so we are diligent in finding the right match. Our thorough process includes: 3 personal references, vet reference and home visit.
