" I'm not very good with people. I have a hard time talking to them but, when it comes to dogs; I can communicate well. I noticed that when I talk to people, our conversation goes much better if there's a dog in the room," said from Mr. Kenichi Nagase in an episode of - Dogs.

The year 2016, I came across An Australian German Shepherd in a shelter. Initially, I wanted to keep her for a week, to relieve her from the stress of being in a cage. After a week, I was so attached to the dog; she couldn't go back in a cage. She was an abused, but had some much potential. I adopted, trained and named her Boost. She’s now a full healthy, active loving dog. After Boost, I had a different outlook, how I see animals. That experience was my inspiration for Maren & Medley Animal Alliance.
When we see an animal, we just don’t see an animal; but we see a living being with a soul. That has feelings and emotions like us. These animals, can’t speak for themselves like us. We own them the benefit of the doubt, to learn and understand them.
Animals respond to the environment much as humans do, reacting emotionally to others and even becoming stressed and anxious in times of danger. These emotions have a marked effect on their behavior but, we may never be able to know how animals actually feel, studies have found that there are definite behavioral similarities in emotional expression between animals and humans.
Our nonprofit organizations, set goals to help rescue dogs, as much as possible by bringing awareness to pet adoptions. Strategies to achieving no-kill, return lost pets to owners, collaborate with private animal groups & the community, provide spay/neutering, increasing volunteer and foster care programs, provide services for low income community members who want a companion animal.
We believe fostering is one of the most rewarding, amazing and intense experience you will have in your life and we will support you every step of the way. Maren & Medley can only rescue as many dogs as we have foster. By being a Maren & Medley foster parent, you are directly helping us to save the lives of deserving pups.
We process all foster application by screening submitted application, checking 3 references, checking vet reference and conducting a home visit to make sure the environment is safe and comfy. As we look for dedicated fosters, who are committed and willing to work through both the challenges and fun of fostering. We are a small, all volunteer organization, the process could usually take a few weeks.
